Sandy Grove Elementary is a diverse community of engaged teachers, learners, and families who strive to meet the high expectations of each unique learner.  We will foster involvement within the community while shaping learners who are globally prepared to meet the demands of the 21st century and make a positive impact on the world.

Our mission is to establish independent learners who are contributing citizens embracing life-long learning in a global community.  We strive to build strong relationships with all family and community members in order to have all stakeholders contribute to the growth of every student.  Our students will be technologically literate, critical thinkers prepared for a fast paced, ever changing world.

Doves Summer Reading & Math - Classworks All Stars

Complete 10 hours of both Reading and Math on Classworks to be entered to win Fabulous Prizes!!!

Students should log in to Classworks (username is their student ID # & password is Student1) using their school provided username & password. Complete work on lessons in the Individualized Learning Plan (ILP).  The program will automatically log your time. All students who log 10 or more hours in both Reading & Math will be entered in a drawing for our Fabulous Prizes including Gift Cards & Toys. 30 minutes a day: Increments of 15-30 minutes can add up quickly. Our cookie dough fundraiser ends on 3/16. Remember, we are also selling coupon books. We have some available in the office if you wish to come in and purchase them. Please make sure you turn in all money and order forms on Friday.

Who needs a reason to celebrate?! March 24 will NOT be a snow make-up day. After reviewing our instructional time (and with the threat of winter weather behind us...fingers crossed) Hoke County Schools has decided to waive the snow day we were scheduled to make up on Saturday, March 24!#PleaseShare

There will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow, January 17th due to the changing forecast and the possibility of inclement weather. The teacher workday that was scheduled for next Tuesday, January 23rd will now be a regular student day. PLEASE SHARE!

2 Hour Delay 1/9

Hoke County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay tomorrow morning, January 9th. Students can begin arriving on campus at 9:15am. Please expect buses to be running 2 hours behind their normal schedule. We're excited to have you back!!

School Closed 1/8 and some updates

Hoke County Schools are closed on Monday, January 8th due to some of the secondary roads still having ice and snow.  Stay safe and warm.

Robotics club will be after school on Tuesday and Thursday.

Mark your calendars: Award's Day will be on February 2nd and STEAM Night will be on February 15th.
